What we have tested.
What still needs proof.
Development evidence as of . This page supports technical diligence; it is not an independent audit or a mainnet-readiness certification.
Observed on-chain
Six distinct escrow coins across three auctions confirmed at testnet11 block 4,694,277. Deposits totaled 0.42 TXCH. Three additional deposits of 0.10 TXCH each confirmed at block 4,694,313. There are now nine funded bid coins totaling 0.72 TXCH, all controlled by one test wallet.
Local adversarial testing
318 backend tests passed, including 1,000 deterministic randomized auction scenarios checking real-bid ranking and exact value conservation. V3 simulator tests reject operator refunds and bidder reclaim before the committed close timestamp.
Also passed: 1,618 registry tests (19 skipped), 269 frontend tests, and 28 direct covenant scripts. A bounded live check covered 29 pages and 36 API reads without JavaScript errors or server failures. These tests do not prove live settlement or distributed consensus behavior.
One transaction can fund many bids
The wallet spends an input coin and creates separate output coins. Six auction deposits plus change can therefore appear as one wallet transaction. Each escrow output has its own coin ID, puzzle hash, value, and spending conditions.
Funding together does not mean the escrow coins must later be spent together. Atomic settlement needs explicit cross-coin conditions. See Chia conditions and spend-bundle splitting.
Issues found and corrected
- Spent/refunded deposits no longer count as live bids.
- New V3 escrows bind the close time; earlier V2 coins cannot be changed retroactively.
- Ranking and second price use the real bid, excluding blind padding; refunds include that padding.
- Bidding stops at the reveal boundary. An existing escrow record cannot be overwritten by a new bid.
- A chain lookup failure defers settlement, and a funded V3 auction cannot issue simulated ownership at close.
NamID is inspired by Handshake, whose auction guide distinguishes bid value from lockup value. NamID does not yet provide Handshake-equivalent consensus enforcement of the full auction lifecycle.
Milestones before public custody
- Wire and verify cryptographic commitments and bidder-authorized reveals. The current server stores the real/blind split.
- Prove atomic auction settlement and winner minting against funded testnet coins, including failure and recovery paths.
- Complete independent covenant review and reconcile chain ownership with registry state.
- Validate operational recovery, installer releases, and independent-peer synchronization.
The funding discussion should center on completing and auditing these milestones. No investment performance, valuation, or launch date is promised here.
Wallet and sunrise update · September 16
The SageX auction page now detects the local desktop wallet and shows the blind field by default. Public funded deposits remain paused.
Sunrise lists 95 gift nominations and the refreshed 1,438-entry IANA snapshot, including .web. Signed requests are non-exclusive review submissions, not ownership or identity proof. The original 40-name XCHandles list is not established; 74 contribution-premine labels were recovered from the official launch repository.
