The problem
Addresses are unmemorable, handles are custodial, and every "name" product so far is a web server you have to trust. Nothing on Chia lets a wallet prove who a name belongs to.

NamID is a decentralized naming, identity and service-discovery layer on Chia. Roots are soulbound and sold at auction under a DAO; second-level names trade as offer files; the wallet verifies every answer against consensus. It is running on testnet today and needs a security review and integration capital to open the apex.

Chia has NFTs, offers and DIDs — and no name a browser can resolve
The protocol
Roots are soulbound NFT covenants, auctioned once and never resold. Names under them are transferable and trade as standard Chia offers. Records are on chain; the resolver verifies them with a light client.
The wedge
Three live outlets and a wallet that already resolves. Integrations with Dexie, OfferFiles, MintGarden, XCHandles and the explorers put a NamID name everywhere a Chia user already looks.
